Northrop Grumman CRS-25
Northrop Grumman CRS-25, also known as NG-25, is an upcoming uncrewed Commercial Resupply Services mission for NASA to deliver science, supplies, equipment and station hardware to the International Space Station. The mission will use Northrop Grumman's larger Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft and is currently expected to launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. NASA's current International Space Station flight planning places CRS-25 in the Fall/Winter 2026 period, while current launch tracking lists the flight as no earlier than December 2026. NASA has stated that approximately 11,000 pounds, or about 4,990 kilograms, of cargo is targeted for the mission. After launch, Cygnus XL will travel to the International Space Station, where it is expected to be captured using Canadarm2 and installed on the station for cargo unloading. At the end of its mission, the spacecraft is expected to depart carrying disposal cargo and undergo destructive atmospheric re-entry.
